Community Profile

Squee è una challenge permanente a tema mensile con due particolarità distintive:
- come tutte le community aderenti a Culocard, regala striscioline per la propria tessera;
- come nessun'altra community prima di oggi, regala agli iscritti il PDF dell'omonima fanzine con tutti i fanwork aderenti al tema mensile.
Agli utenti non è richiesta una partecipazione costante ai temi mensili, mentre è incoraggiata - ma mai imposta - la partecipazione attiva in forma di commenti ai lavori. La moderazione di Squee crede che ogni commento costituisca un regalo, e in quanto tale non deve avere vincoli di frequenza, di lunghezza o di qualsiasi altro genere, se non quelli della buona educazione; crede nel commento costruttivo e non quello distruttivo, fatto in loco e non (solo) all'esterno di esso.

Squee is a permanent, themed, monthly-based challenge with two distinctive traits:
- as other communities do, we give away nice striped banners to every participant;
- as no other Italian-based community before us did, we give away the PDF zine with the works taking part to the monthly challenge (even if both the mods are Italian, we are glad to accept English works to our challenge, too).
Users don't have to take part to every monthly challenge, but we encourage reviewing of participating works. Squee mods believe that every comment and critique is a gift, and a gift should not be constrained by frequency, length, or any other limitation (except politeness); mods believe in constructive reviews and discourage disruptive ones, and ask people to comment works in the proper places where they're posted.
